- Initial Search Planning (a) Obtain sample of relevant studies a.k.a seed articles. Use pubMedID aka Assession Number and DOIs as identifier (b) Design initial data extraction form (c) Design search strategy i. Create PubMed search query using keywords from seed studies: TERA WordFreq ii. Add controlled vocabulary terms for PubMed: TERA MeshMate iii. Improve the PubMed search result to have a recall of 100 percent and precision of approximately 1 percent: TERA SearchRefiner iv. Translate the search query to the other databases syntax : TERA Polyglot v. Add control terms for the specific databases (d) Update Protocol: Custom Review Protocol Form, and then TERA Review Wizard

- Screening (a) Perform Screening i. Screen titles & abstracts: TERA Screenatron and TERA MechaScreener ii. Obtain full texts: EndNote - Find Full text and Edinburgh Napier Library iii. Screen full texts: Record reason for exclusion in EndNote’s label field iv. Citation searching: TERA Spidercite v. Deduplication of citation results against previously screened results: TERA Deduplicator - Identify New References vi. Screen citation results (b) Report the Screening Results
